Music, this New York City-area based freelance drummer has studied with some
of the industry's most influential teachers, including: Jamie Haddad (Paul
Simon), Casey Scheuerell (Jean-Luc Ponty), Joe Hunt (Bill Evans) and Skip

An in-demand session player, Kevin is actively recording with independent
artists and bands in various New York studios including: Cove City Sound
Studios, Looking Glass Studios and Shelter Island Sound, while also
balancing private instruction for his increasing five-year roster of
students. Kevin can currently be seen performing at venues from Maine to
Florida, sharing the stage with original bands: Soul Alone, The Eren Cannata
Band, Joe Gande and The Godsend Sessions, and the tri-state's hottest new

A few notes by Joe Gande...
Kevin Bregande is truly "The Godsend" of The Godsend Sessions.
Kevin has all the qualities and skills one searches for in their quest for the ultimate drummer...
Timing, musicality, technique, versatility, dynamics, a great drum kit, transportation, and even a beaming personality... blah blah blah...
What makes Kevin unique and sets him apart from the mass abundance of drummers out there?
He listens...
He hears...
He plays...
Patience...
"I would literally sing drum fills and vibes to Kevin and he would play them."
"Kevin is truly a songwriters dream. He is able to take the ideas out of my head and give them a voice through him and out of his drums."
...and when I didn't say anything or didn't know how to convey something or we just just played, he played exactly what my ears, mind, body and soul needed wanted and longed to hear..."
"Pure magic..."
"I strongly recommend putting on a set of headphones, blocking out everything but the drum track in your head and listening to the "But First...this Song album..."
